THE ASTOR HOUSE MUSEUM
preserves some of the Keweenaw’s
rarest and most unique
artifacts. Relive history
through relics of the earliest
known settlers and browse
mining tool displays from the
copper boom days of the
mid-1800’s. The museum houses an
exquisite collection of over 400
antique dolls from across the
globe. Learn about Lake
Superior’s nautical history from
our shipwreck material, wheels
and nautical lanterns. We also
have an extensive collection
of copper ingots, local
breweriana, hand-blown bottles,
insulators, railroad and civil
war memorabilia, toys,
geological
specimens and portraits of the
Peninsula's founders.
THE ASTOR HOUSE ANTIQUE
